89S52 Development Board is a compact development board equipped with USB port for direct connectivity with latest laptops and PCs. When connected to PC / Laptop, board does not need additional power supply and can function from supply through USB.
AT89S52 is microcontroller from Atmel having 8KB flash memory soldered on this board with 11.0592MHz crystal. 89S52 is in-circuit-programmable chip and thus does not need to be removed from board for programming. The board is also equipped with many additional accessories such as Buzzer, RTC, 64KB EEPROM, provision for character LCD alongwith contrast adjustment potentiometer and backlight on-off control. Two ports (Port 1 & 2) are available on berg connectors for extended connectivity and usage.
The board is designed to correctly align with 20x4 LCD to right size and thus it can also act as a LCD backpack.
